It’s probably a hot, humid day in July when you receive this. But what better time to be thinking about next year’s ski vacation! After some hard work by John Hilbrandt, our trip director, sorting through various contracts and proposals, the Club is ready to present this year’s line up of ski trips for the ’06 season. I think you will find an attractive mix of some old favorites as well as one resort the Club has never been to before. (Hard to believe, but yes, there is a resort in the U.S. we never skied.)
In addition, there are 4 local weekend trips to the ski resorts in North Carolina for racers and non-racers alike. And if that’s not enough there are two three day trips for long weekends to Snowshoe, West Virginia, which has been a CSC favorite for the last couple of years.
To top it all off don’t forget the chance to sign up for skiing in New Zealand, and take a tour of Australia in July/ August of ’06. So far 13 members have signed on for this memorable trip.
We will be presenting the details of these trips and more at the July, 5th meeting at Christopher’s. Remember, as in year’s past it is first come, first serve to get on the trip of your choice. All trips have a limited number of spaces. Trip Captains will be available at the meeting to answer any questions you may have.
Study the stats on these ski resorts and you may win a gift certificate by answering a trivia question correctly at the end of the meeting! See you there.
